S.E. Clark enlisted May 15, 1862 in Savannah with Capt. Miller - Lt. Col. Rockwell was also on this record. QM Sgt. Clark was with the 21st Battalion, Georgia Cavalry, Co. C until, through consolidation of units, he was transferred to Co. B, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.
Clark retained his rank until April '64 when he joined as a Private, leaving the Non Com Staff on April 1, 1864.
