R.P.D. Lee was enlisted May 15, 1862 at Savannah with Capt. Miller. Pvt. Lee was in Co. C, 21st Battalion, Georgia Cavalry until, through consolidation of units, he was transferred to Co. B, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.
Pvt. Lee was present on all roll calls through December with 2 exceptions. He was absent for 18 days in April '64 and the second time was a short stay in hospital at Raleigh, N.C.
