S. Moore enlisted May 15, 1862 at Savannah with Capt. Miller. Pvt. Moore served with the 21st Battalion, Georgia Cavalry, Co. C until, through consolidation of units, he was transferred to Co. B, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.
In the May/August roll, Pvt. Moore was detailed at Recruiting Camp. Moore was present on the September/Ocotber roll and received a clothing issue between October and December.
Pvt. S. Moore surrendered and was paroled May 19, 1865 at Augusta.
