Daniel McLeod enlisted July 1, 1863 and deserted August 1, '63. He was in arrest at Castle Thunder, Savannah. He was probably released by the Union troops in December '64. Then he was captured again, this time by the Yanks. He was in prison at Point Lookout, Md. Released June 29th, '65.
