Timothy H. King enlisted September 22, 1862 at Waynesville with Capt. Hopkins. Pvt. King was in Co. A, 24th Battalion, Georgia Cavalry until, through consolidation of units, he was transferred to Co. G, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.
He was sick in hospital at Raleigh, N.C. October 27, '64, and was diagnosed with chronic rheumatism. Pvt. King was transferred January 1, 1865 to go home in Wayne County at P.O. Box Blackshear, Ga.
