Henry J. Stone of Pierce County, Ga., enlisted at the Isle of Hope, Chatham County in an unknown unit.
He served in Co. G, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.
Pvt. Stone was captured June 11, 1864 at Trevillian Station, Va., sent to Point Lookout, Md. and then to Elmira Prison, N.Y. where he remained until being released June 24, 1865.
