C.M. Bashlor was with the Hardwick Mounted Rifles, Co. A until February 13, 1864 when the 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry was created, at which time he was assigned to Co. H of the 7th. There is one reference to him being in Co. K.
Pvt. Bashlor was listed as present, without a horse in October 1864.
