Lt. John H. Glover enlisted at Marietta, Ga., served in Co. D, 24th Battalion, Georgia Cavalry and Co. I, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.

On May/August roll he began signing roll as "Commanding Company".

He was sick on September 7, 1864; took sick furlough.

Lt. Glover surrendered April 1865 at Lincolnton, N.C. and was paroled at Charlotte, N.C. on May 3, 1865.
