Benjamin C. Henry served with the 24th Battalion, Georgia Cavalry as Battalion Quartermaster and was on the roll of Co. B. When the 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry was organized through consolidation of units, Henry retained his status, being assigned as Regimental Quartermaster.
One requisition was stated, "requisitioned for forage for the mules".
Benjamin C. Henry was with General Lee when he surrendered on April 9, 1865.
