Huger W. Johnson (also as "Johnston") enlisted as Musician May 10, 1861 in 5th Regiment, Georgia Infantry. He was discharged, disability, Chattanooga, Tenn. April 5, 1862.
He later served in Co. C, 21st Battalion, Georgia Cavalry and through consolidation of units was transferred to Co. B, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.
