H.P. Williamson enlisted December 21, 1862 in Charleston with Capt Miller. Musician/Pvt. Williamson served in Co. C, 21st Battalion, Georgia Cavalry until, through consolidation of units, he was transferred to Co. B, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.
On the March/April 1864 roll, Musician/Pvt. Williamson received a 5 day furlough on April 14th. He was listed as being present on the next 2 rolls. He received a clothing issue dated as October-December.
