Pvt. Alexander became sick in April 1864 and was granted a sick furlough and upon leaving, received pay for January through April in the amount of $44. Then on August 20th, he was admitted to Jackson Hospital in Richmond, diagnosed with rheumatism and on the 26th was furloughed for 30 days.
W.B. Alexander was reported absent on October 30, 1864 since October 6th. No further records.
