J.N. Dillard (Dilland) enlisted February 27, 1864 in Elbert County with Sgt. Kinnebrew. Records show that Pvt. Dillard was in the 3rd Georgia Cavalry prior to the above...no dates nor further information concerning this.

Pvt. Dillard now in Company C of the 7th, was present on rolls through March. He was absent for a few days in April , just prior to leaving to Northern Virginia. He was listed as being present from May through October and was still mounted in October.
