Job H. Stovall enlisted in the 15th Regiment, Georgia Infantry as a private July 15, 1861 in Elbert County. He was discharged on disability from an unknown cause January 27,1862.
On August 29, 1862, he enlisted as a private in Co. B, 24th Battalion, Georgia Cavalry. Transferred to Co. C, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry February 13, 1864, appointed Corporal.
Surrendered with General Lee at Appomattox, Va. April 9, 1865.
