L.L. Liles enlisted September 22, 1862 at Camp Fort. There is no indication as to what unit Liles may have been in prior to the 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry where he joined the 7th in the early spring of 1864.
Sgt. Liles was listed as being sick in camp on the May/August roll. He was discharged for disability September 1, '64 by order of General Lee.
