R.G. Mingledorph enlisted October 24, 1863 at Georgetown, S.C. Pvt. Mingledorph was with the 21st Battalion, Georgia Cavalry, Co. B until, through consolidation of units, he was transferred to Co. E, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.

Mingledorph was present at roll calls through May '64. He entered General Hospital # 9 on June 7th. On June 28th he was transferred to Camp Winder, Va. At the hospital his diagnosis was febris int. (intermittent fever).

Pvt. R.G. Mingledorph received a clothing issue at Camp Winder on August 4, '64. No further records.
