E.H. Baker enlisted with Capt. Banks in Co. B, 21st Battalion, Georgia Cavalry on January 10, 1863 and later transferred to Co. E of the 21st, where he served until his unit was consolidated with others to form the 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry at which time he was transferred to Co. F of the 7th.
During the battle at Trevillian Station in June 1864, Pvt. Baker's horse was captured. No more records.
