Pvt. Hardee's records show that he didn't experience sickness nor did he miss being present on roll calls. In April '64 and part of March, he was without a horse and apparently acquired another mount. His horse died July 20, 1864. In October '64 he was detailed for 60 days away from camp (no details).
Pvt. Henry T. Hardee surrendered and was paroled May 13, 1865. At that time his description was listed as: hair, light; eyes, blue; complexion, fair; height, 5 ft. 9 inches.
