S.C. Littlefield and his brother, T.B. Littlefield were detailed to the armory at Macon in April '63 while in the 21st Battalion. This detail continued after the organization of the 7th.

The Littlefield family's company at Millen, Ga. was named Littlefield Brinson Company. They provided materials to the armory. S.C. Littlefield was in the lumber business and T.B. Littlefield was an engineer and together they were contractors for the Confederate Armory.
