Henry Brown enlisted with Capt. J.L. McAllister April 3, 1862 in Bryan County. He served in the Hardwick Mounted Rifles until the 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry was established in February '64.
With the 7th, Pvt. Brown was in Company H. He was present at most of the roll calls. One exception was in the May / June roll which showed that he was in Huguenot Springs Hospital. On the Sptember / October roll present.
