S.A. Anderson enlisted March 12, (year unknown - It could well be 1864, shortly after the orginazation of the 7th Georgia Cavalry on Feb. 13th.). He was enlisted in Chatham County, Ga. by Lt. Kiser.

Pvt. Anderson was admitted to General Hospital #9 on June17, 1864 with a problem with his right hand, possibly an injury. He returned to duty on June 20th.

The only other bit of information was that he received an issue of clothing during the October - December roll. The clothing he drew was; 2 shirts, 1 drawers, 1 shoes, 1 socks and 1 blanket.
