Watson was present on roll calls through August '64. After then he was detailed by Major Paxton to take charge of non-servicable horses at Lynchburg, Va.

In November or December of 1864 he was issued clothing which included; 1 jacket, 1 pair pants, 1 shirt, 2 pair drawers, 1 pair shoes and 2 pair socks. No further records.
