Thomas White enlisted in Campbell County with Lt. Kiser. Sgt. White served in the 24th Battalion, Georgia Cavalry, Co. D until, through consolidation of units, he was transferred to Co. I, 7th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry.
Sgt. White's records show that he was present at roll calls through October '64. He lost his horse on June 11th during the Battle of Trevillian Station. In the late fall of 1864, Sgt. White received an issue of clothing.
