William T. Holmes with no Company designation was captured at Jacksonville June 22, 1864 and confined to a military prison.

He was transferred to Point Lookout, Md. on June 30, '64 and arrived at Fortress Monroe, Va. on July 1st. On February 18, 1865 he was exchanged.
