D.S. Krueter enlisted January 4, 1862 at Savannah with Capt. Anderson. Kreuter was in the 24th Battalion and was commissioned, Ordnance Sgt. December 1, 1863.
When the 7th Regiment was formed, Kreuter retained his status, now as Regimental Ord. Sgt. He was in a hospital for 2 days in August - no details.
He was captured in Savannah on December 21, 1864. No further records.
